MOCKINGBIRD CAFE
The Courtyard entrance to the Mockingbird Cafe
On Friday and Saturday Evenings (and sometimes on Sunday afternoons) we feature original live music in our new dining room or out in our courtyard! Look out for Celtic, Bluegrass, American and Old-world Folk, Jazz and Blues!

We feature the work of local artists in our café! As always, the wood-fired pottery of Mike Henshaw is on display-- and be sure to check out the rough-cut wooden benches in the 19th century plantation style by Grady County craftsman Ray Gainey! We always have an exhibit of paintings in our main dining room, as well as works by local artists throughout the restaurant!

Ask Lori about hosting your next party at the Mockingbird!

WE’RE EASY TO FIND! Enter through our beautiful courtyard on 1st St. in downtown Havana - just across from the Florida Art Center! If you have questions of any kind-- give us a call! (850) 539-2212

Opened in 2002 by Lori Ryan and Mike Henshaw, the Mockingbird Café is located in beautiful downtown Havana, Florida-- about 12 miles north of Tallahassee, off Hwy 27. Set in the historic antique district, the café offers visitors two dining rooms and a beautiful courtyard in which to enjoy great food, art and local live music.

Lunch is served Wednesday through Sunday until 3pm—and features such delectables as Authentic Cuban Sandwiches, Black Beans and Rice, Homemade Chicken Salad, the “Big Greek” Salad and a host of other sandwiches and garden fresh salads!

Dinner is served Friday and Saturday nights from 6 until 9 pm-- and features a full-service chef ’s choice menu! Entrees change each week to take advantage of the latest seasonal fresh seafood catches!

Our desserts are handmade all week long by veteran baker Madge Russell using only the freshest ingredients! Real butter, real cream, real vanilla— we think you’ll heartily approve of our extra effort!

Enjoy an authentic Cuban-style Espresso, Cafe Mocha, Iced Cappuccino or just a good honest cup of Mockingbird Roast!

Enjoy drinking your coffee out of handmade pottery mugs. You'll see pottery, paintings and good friends. Stop in for a visit!
